To be considered eligible to apply, JNCTS laid down eligibility criteria for the candidates. The applicants must pass the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for the B.tech course at JNCTS.

The applying candidates should have passed their intermediate level or any 10+2 equivalent examination.

The examination should have been conducted by any component senior secondary education.

At the intermediate level, the compulsory subjects should be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

The applicants must have achieved a minimum of 45% marks in all the subjects added together.

The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/ and OBC categories should have scored a minimum of 40% marks.

For the B.Tech (lateral) admission at JNCTS Bhopal, candidates must have completed their Diploma in Engineering course and have secured 45% marks in aggregation.

The candidates who have completed their B.sc degree course with mathematics and had scored at least 60% marks will also be considered eligible for the B.Tech lateral entry at JNCT.
